The Republic of Gamers (ROG) Horus GK2000 RGB mechanical gaming keyboard which is a revised version of the Horus GK2000 which the company had released back in early-2016 with only red LED lighting. The Horus GK2000 RGB is an updated version of the original keyboard and now comes with RGB LED lighting, as you can tell just by the name of it. Its lighting can be controlled by ASUS Aura Sync RGB software, which also allows you to set the color, brightness, and lighting patterns for each key individually.

The new ROG Horus GK2000 RGB has the same great features as the original, but the company has added certain key improvements in order to make it even more awesome. This new addition of the RGB lighting is pretty good, but it’s more than just adding in some LEDs and calling it a day, the new version of the keyboard also has better performance. You are also able to adjust the lighting behind each key according to your liking to have the exact look you want.
This keyboard has a number of effects built in, it even gives you the ability to change the tempo and direction for some of them. The Horus is also able to sync its lighting with other compatible hardware to all keep all the RGBs in your PC harmonized, all thanks to the Aura Sync RGB software.
Personalization abilities that you get are beyond just LEDs; you can edit the behavior of every key on the Horus, and you also get five additional keys specifically for macros. The GK2000 RGB doubles the internal storage for macros and profiles to 8MB, which enables you to connect to any PC and allowing you to use your 10 stored profiles without the need of installing any software.

Although one of the most underrated and overlooked features in modern keyboards is the USB pass through, for which the Horus RGB has a complete mini-hub. It has two USB ports, along with a headphone and microphone jack which is located on the back, behind the sharp surrounding accents.
This keyboard sports Cherry MX RGB series switches, with whopping 16.8 million-color RGB diodes. ASUS has increased the keyboards built in storage to 8 MB, which is specified for locally storing not only your macros, but it also stores your lighting settings.
