What is Notmycar and why should you play it?
If you like PUBG, but you find it way too complicated or difficult, then Notmycar may be the game you are looking for. The idea here is simple, Notmycar is a combination of PUBG and Twisted Metal. This is a car combat battle royale game.
The concept is simple, there are dozens of cars that are thrown from a plane, and the last car that survived is declared the winner. Adding in the car combat challenges to Notmycar does make a lot of sense, and it does go to show the intensity offered by a game like this.
Aside from that, you also have things like a massive world full of challenges like uneven terrain and so on. There are also weapons to be looted here, and that’s certainly a very cool idea. There are caches all over the island, and you have to find them before others if you want to survive.
As you play and win, you get points that can be used for customizing your car. These include things like bumpers, flags, paint and so on. The game seems to be focused on a great gaming experience, and the addition of cosmetics makes us believe that it will have loot crates, but they will mostly be cosmetic in nature. But who knows, maybe the business model will differ, there aren’t that many details at this time.
This sounds like a dream game to be honest, and a lot of people are excited about the premise. A game where you get to battle a lot of other cars as you try to get the much-wanted victory? It’s a dream title for a lot of people. And yes, you get all the PUBG mechanics like shrinking play areas and drops that appear out of nowhere and which you do need to survive.
When can I Play ?
Some details are missing right now. We don’t know how many players will be there if armor will factor in or not, if there will be loot boxes or if the game will be free/paid. There’s no official trailer, but what we do have is a great insight into an idea that can give PUBG a run for its money.
The game is in pre-alpha right now, so it is in the early days. But that shouldn’t put you off. The official website allows you to register for a playtest that will happen in the next few months mostlikely. If this idea intrigues you or if the game sounds fun, then you should totally subscribe and become a part of the alpha test, whenever that will happen.
While a lot of games try to bring in that unique PUBG element to the table, most of them are offering a fresh insight into the experience, and that does matter a lot. This game will be an alternative for battle royale titles like PUBG or Fortnite. Although it can be very hard to say how well Notmycar will do until it launches!
